Exercise 8-A. Pronounce the following words containing a siin.

Exercise 8-F. Translate the following phrases and sentences.

Exercise 8-K. Practice pronouncing the following demonstrative phrases, taking care not to make a break between the demonstrative and the following noun. Note how the ’a of the article has been dropped. Try pronouncing the l of the article as the end of the preceding word. For example, for the first phrase pronounce haadhaa l‑walad as if it were written haadhal walad. Translate each phrase. Is the demonstrative ‘that’ or ‘this’?
